Translated Closed Captions are a Bits-enabled feature that will translate your Closed Captions to a broadcaster-selected language. Once a viewer activates Translations in the video overlay, every viewer can see translations for the translation language the broadcaster has selected.
Captions can be translated into over 50 different languages, all you, the broadcaster, must do is select which language you would like your captions translated to.
The viewer can spend 500 bits to activate translations for your entire channel for the next 24 hours.
Translated Closed Caption is a Bits enabled feature through the overlay extension. Viewers can do the following steps to activate translations:

When a viewer spends 500 bits to turn on translations, it will go into your balance. If you currently have Closed Captions "On" then 500 credits will be deducted from your balance and Translations will be turned "On" for the next 24 hours and viewers should be able to see them shortly after.
<aside> ❗ 500 credits will not be deducted. If you, the broadcaster, have not yet selected a language to translate your captions to.

Once translations are enabled, it will continue to remain on for 24 hour duration. For example, if translations are enabled on Monday @ 9:30 a.m., then it will remain active until Tuesday @ 9:30 a.m.
500 credits will only be deducted from your balance when Closed Captioning is "On.” So viewers can help you build up a balance for future streams to be translated.
